Once upon a time…

It all started with a thought one day of July of 2016 with SJDS in mind as our future retirement home.
It is difficult to express feelings regarding the elevation of a house, some might think its not a big deal but… here is how we see it. It is not only a good foundation, cement, bricks and other materials. It is a huge effort, very well synchronized of very hardworking people, working under any weather conditions, sweating day after day and covered with dirt, who daily carried loads of heavy materials. Surprising but, like the gears on any machinery, they are trained to run at such a perfect pace that no one puts the other behind. Whether they work days and nights, we don't get to see that and we do not get the chance to tell them how much we appreciate all that hard work. At the end…they have to meet a deadline, and for the Developers that's all that mattters.
Yeah it is rare to share the beginning of a new future when it all translates to a house. But a house that as you can tell, we had been contemplating from afar, carefully studying those blueprints day after day. We had dreams about it, and looked forward to this incredible ending. We are Happy…We did it!
